Heat Packs are a form of heat therapy that promotes consistent circulation throughout the body. If you have an injury or pain in a certain area, Heat Packs are a great way to reduce muscle or joint discomfort. Heat allows more blood come to the area where it is applied. It can also assist in reducing joint stiffness, muscle spasm releasing tightness, relieving menstrual cramps, stress, neck, shoulder, back and leg pain.
Benefits of using Lupins in our Heat Packs include being 30% lighter in weight and retain their heat longer. They are not treated with chemicals or fungicides, are allergy free and don’t sweat when heated in the microwave.
How to use and care for your Heat or Cold Pack-
Put in the microwave for 1 minute then for 30 seconds each time until you reach your desired heat. DO NOT HEAT FOR MORE THAN 2 MINUTES FOR INITIAL HEATING.
Do not heat if there is moisture in the heat pack. Let your heat pack dry naturally then it can be heated up.
These Heat Packs can also be used as Cold Packs. Simply place the lupin pack in a snap lock bag before putting in the freezer to use as a cold pack.
We do not recommend using your lupin pack for both cold and heat, please only them as one or the other so they’re not damaged in any way.
